I was awarded the Hamish Canham prize by the Poetry Society in 2013 and have won or been placed in a number of competitions including the Plough Prize and the Stanza Competition, and commended or shortlisted in many others including the Bridport and the National.

My poetry is published in many UK literary magazines, print and digital, from The Rialto and Poetry News to Mslexia and Magma. I also write reviews for The Frogmore Papers and Envoi. Recent features written for Poetry News and the Society of Authors magazine. I’ve been writing a poetry blog for over ten years.
